Improving the quality of Plastic Granules produced from recycling of waste milk pouches
Plastic is among the most popular and important materials used in the modern world. Due to the fact that plastic is non-biodegradable, it is essential that it is recycled as part of the global efforts to reducing plastic and other solid waste in the environment.
Today there is high demand in the industry for reprocessed plastic granules from recycled plastic scrap. Plastic scraps produced from manufacturing industries that leave piles of discarded plastics can be effectively organized, it can be melted down or broken into pellets as said earlier and this is highly productive and lot better than making them flow into streams which pollutes the environment. LDPE, BOPP, PP and HDPE plastic items are recycled into plastic granules.
Recycling plastic in large scale is a challenging task such as milk pouch. However, the recycling of post use milk pouches exhibited appreciable extent of thermo-mechanical degradation, which causes the deterioration of mechanical properties of the recycled polymer. We have innovative technology for removal of impurities and the bad smell of milk bags caused by microbial infection due to presence of milk remains (biofilm, lipids, carbohydrates, lipids, mineral, salts, vitamins, growth factors).
